Youth Development Program (YDP) Application 2025

The APA Player Development Program would like to invite all interested youth players to join the Youth Development Program for the year. The Youth Development Program is open to all APA members who are under 21 years old before July 6th, 2025. Membership is good for one year, resetting on December 31st, and is $50

BENEFITS:
-Coaching and support at tournaments
-Invitations to YDP specific events, clinics and camps
-Mentorship in a variety of topics (horsemanship, polocrosse skills, traveling tips/connections, etc.)
-A YDP Member gift

REQUIREMENTS:

You must be under 21 years old before July 6th, 2025

YDP membership is contingent upon following the APA Code of Conduct

You may be asked to seek sponsors and/or participate in fundraising for the YDP, as appropriate for planned activities. This money will not apply to any one person’s account for clinics, camps, or tours

Cowboy Classic 2025 Tournament Results

Citrus Classic 2025 Tournament Results

64 players from more than 10 clubs trekked down to Florida this past weekend for the first tournament of the season: Citrus Classic hosted by Charlie Horse Polocrosse Club. The tournament was sponsored by Seminole Feed Stores. Sunday afternoon was cancelled due to lightning but the schedule was preemptively adjusted to put the finals matches

2025 Crosse-Over-Challenge

The PDP is excited to announce a Crosse-Over-Challenge, which is a competition in which players take a horse of any breed or background and develop it for polocrosse! The challenge will culminate in a showcase during the 2025 National Championships, where they will be evaluated on their progress, agility, responsiveness, and overall suitability for polocrosse.
