The World Cup Committee is proud to announce Rob Shuttles as the coach for the 2023 USA Polocrosse World Cup Team that will compete in Shongweni, South Africa, July 20 -26, 2023.
Rob Shuttles, as a player, has been a USA Polocrosse World Cup Captain in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2019. He was also the Captain for the United States team at the Quadrangular Competition in South Africa in 2017. He was the United States Umpire Representative and Coach at the 2015 Polocrosse World Cup, which was held in South Africa. While having competed on several continents, Rob has also coached several inbound and outbound tours. His service to the sport of polocrosse has also led him to coach multiple clinics throughout the United States over the years.
Rob is a member of the Lone Star Polocrosse Club based in Coupland, Texas. As a member of the Lone Star Club, he has won multiple American Polocrosse Association National Championships. He has been playing the sport of polocrosse for 32 years and enjoys playing with his wife, Heather, and children, Aubrey and Haydon. Rob also counts a large number of extended family members as experienced polocrosse players.
Rob is excited to begin work with his Developmental Squad in the near future as he seeks to prepare and field the strongest USA Polocrosse team to date.
